 This is nothing that can't be solved with a properly configured proxy
 server.  The advantage of a proxy server is that you can create
 arbitrarily complex feedback/error pages, instead of just a dialog
 "your system administrator has blocked this URL".

 This isn't really something that belongs in the application.
