Spelling (probably again)

I know this has been covered ad nauseum, as I have just scoured the  
archives and read 80 messages on the topic.

However, Redhat 9 and Balsa 2.0.15 does not spellcheck, generating the  
(perhaps famous) error

	Unable to load the "aspell" module.

I've tried everything suggested there, to no avail.  Is this maybe a  
RH9 problem, not yet sorted out ?
