Removing the use of Gnome Canvas



Please before u do to mush take a look at pango.

Its looks very promising. Using Pango API 
means support for mostly any character sets.

www.pango.org the pango will probadly be used in next
major release of gtk+.

I have plans to to check this out in the weekend using some
of my existing code from gtkextext.
