Not sure if this is standard, but on my box Alt+F1 through Alt+F4 are used 
for switching between desktops/viewports.

P.S. Frighteningly, Windows emmigrants who know Alt+F4 and don't know 
viewports will try using it Alt+F4 to close a window and find *all* their 
windows disappear.  Scared me the first time.
