	Most interesting; I wonder what Gnome you are using, we shouldn't need
that check in Gnome 2.0 - it should all be fixed in ORBit2.
/tmp/orbit-$USER needs to be owned by that user, and have permissions
0600.

	The modprobe is entirely unrelated I think.
