race condition freeze?

occasionally, NetworkManager seems to freeze after the following lines:


Feb 22 13:42:48 localhost NetworkManager: Your IP address = 10.5.252.120
Feb 22 13:42:48 localhost NetworkManager: : Adding nameserver: 10.0.0.112
Feb 22 13:42:48 localhost NetworkManager: : Adding nameserver: 10.0.0.113
Feb 22 13:42:48 localhost NetworkManager: : Adding domain search: company.com


and fails to print out:

Feb 22 13:44:48 localhost NetworkManager: Activation (eth0) IP
configuration/DHCP successful!
Feb 22 13:44:48 localhost NetworkManager: Activation (eth0) ended.
Feb 22 13:44:48 localhost NetworkManager: Activation (eth0)
successful, device activated.




when this happens, the NetworkManagerInfo applet stays on "connecting
to wired device" indefinitely, and I have to kill -9 the
NetworkManager process and restart it if I want NM to resond ..... 
seems like there's a deadlock somewhere...
