RE: shift=and-close-the-current-folder?

What about Alt as the modifier for close-window-behind-me?  I know that
doesn't work well with Alt-Down (since you can't very well double up on
the modifier key), but doesn't Enter also open the selected folder?  In
which case, Alt-Enter could open the folder and close the parent folder
behind.
