[Nautilus-list] music and esound

esound has serious performance problems in my system so i have to
disable it in the gnome session manager. with this i can't use the music
view or preview sound files with nautilus, so i was wondering:

is it possible to use /usr/bin/mpg123 or make nautilus output to oss
instead of esd?

a simple nautilus patch to do so would be much appreciated.
