[HIG] Good news & Bad news

Hey folks...

So the good news is, I just got a job! As of next week (or, depending on the vagaries of IS, HR, and Thanksgiving, the week after), I will be a UI Designer at TellMe Networks in Mountain View, CA. I'm really, really, really excited -- this is an amazing opportunity for me.

The bad news is, as I mentioned on #usability yesterday, this job is likely to require about 100% of my concentration, at least for the first few months -- it's a totally new thing for me, and I have a lot to learn. This means that I'm pretty much going to have to fall off the face of the earth where GNOME is concerned for a while.

Seth has graciously offered to take over the HIG coordination for now (since it's the main thrust of the GUP at the moment, that will make sense). (Seth, would you be willing to take over list admin for this list as well?). Since he's been heavily involved throughout, the transition should be pretty much transparent.

Thanks to everybody for all your work on HIG; it's really nice to see it coming together well, and I'm sure that the end product will be of excellent quality and will make a strong contribution to the GNOME universe.

Anyway, I'll try and pop in from time to time and say hi, but for the moment, I probably won't be able to be around IRC or the lists much. So good luck to everybody!

Thanks,
Adam
