Sorry, I think I must be losing my mind.

To state the matter accurately.  gtkmm-2.5 will not compile with atk-1.8, but 
is will compile with atk-1.9, which is the latest version.  On the other hand 
gtk+2.6 will compile with atk-1.8.

So the question is, will gtkmm-2.6 await atk-1.10, or is atk-1.9 a stable 
release?
