Scrolled window (gtk+ 2.2.2)

Hi list,
I need to use a scrolled window like cmdline stdout. I'm able to append new
text to it, but when i fill the text area the scroll bar doesn't lower with
text.  I always see the same text while my application put it later. Can you
give me an example code to resolve problem?
