Uhm, hi again. I have now read the some part of Havoc Pennington
excellent book and I am a little bit wiser regarding my last question.
Sorry I know I should have read the book before I am asking dumb
questions.

Since `gtk_text_key_press' is the default function of GtkText regarding
the key press signal, the only clean way to modify it's behavior seems
to be: inherit from GtkText and redefine it in the new class.

PS: If the actions I outlined above are still wrong I would be happy to
