WITH_BITMAP in gtktreeitem.c

Is there any reason not to make WITH_BITMAP the default in
gtktreeitem.c? Although a comment says it is buggy, it
seems to work, and makes tree widgets actually usable.
Can whoever added WITH_BITMAP comment on the comment? :-)
