It is really difficult for me to answer all the private e-mails that I
am receiving.

Now, let's go back to the problem.

It seems that the PWLib version you have is the one from GnomeMeeting,
not from Ekiga. You probably broke your dependencies, which is
problematic and should even make ekiga unstable.

As you can see, the ALSA plugin is from Sep 13, and the V4L plugin from
Mar 14. The last one is correct, not the first one. Never mix old and
new libraries.
