ESD and Arts would solve the problem, but the fact is that they are both
of very bad quality when it comes to capture/playback at the same time.
They are thus unusable with GnomeMeeting.

You probably have to use other sound daemons, with low-latency, like MAS
or Jack. In that case, you will have to code a plugin for GnomeMeeting
supporting the sound daemon of your choice.
