[GnomeMeeting-devel-list] GnomeMeeting 1.2 release schedule

Hello to all,

GnomeMeeting 1.2 seems to be ready for a release. I have fixed the
latest problems, Julien still has a bug to fix in the GTK+-only version
and we are ready.

The string freeze should be official from now, translators can start to
translate from today. The string freeze will last 2 weeks, until Sunday
the 5th of December, 23H59.

Fabrice, you should now mail our usual translators list and gnome-i18n
@ gnome.org

There will be a code freeze from the 5th of December until the 12th of
December, 23H59. during which packagers will do their job and package
GnomeMeeting for a release on the 13th of December, in the morning,
Brussels time.

Kilian, I will coordinate with Craig for a new release of OpenH323/PWLib
if required. When that release is done (if required), then you can start
mailing official and unofficial packagers.

GnomeMeeting 1.2 should be packaged with :
- GNOME support, including Evolution-Data-Server support
- HOWL support
- SDL support
- no DBUS support

GnomeMeeting should depend on OpenH323 and PWLib. The OSS, ALSA and
Video4Linux plugins should not be packaged as separate packages and
dependancies (Alex Larsson was rigth about this, users are puzzled),
they should be included in the classical pwlib packages as everyone is
needing them, and as they do not add extra-dependancies.

The other plugins should be packaged as separate packages.

Thank you,
