Right, uname -r gave me the kernel version of the host pc not the 
chroot's one .
So the right versions are:
SuSE 9.1 ----> 2.6.5
SuSE 9.0 ----> 2.4.21

No chance to compile the v4l2plugin on 2.4 kernels ?
