There was a problem with glib-2.2.2 and gnome-pilot-2.0.9 and earlier,
regardless of how/where it was built/linked.  The current gnome-pilot
(2.0.10) fixes this problem.  I wonder whether the problem has more to
do with the gnome-pilot version and less to do with binary
compatibility.
