	pilot-link's USB code has been updated already, and merged back with
HEAD, thanks to the great work by jpr. You can grab an up-to-the-second
snapshot of the CVS code by clicking on the 'micro-snapshot' link on the
pilot-link.org website.

	Note: it will probably break gnome-pilot if you install this and
overwrite your previous pilot-link version, unless you update gnome-pilot as
well. We can help you in #pilot-link on Undernet, if you need it.

	The reason this works is because the new USB Palm devices use a
different protocol "stacking", which is more like the 'net' sync than the
'local' sync, hence pppd works.

	Yes, and yes. But totally unnecessary. Just update to the latest
(unreleased) snapshot, make the adjustments to gnome-pilot as required, and
away you go.
