OK, I read this somewhere, and I have the CVS for gnome-pim, but are they
built seperately, or within gnome-pim now?

I am clearly missing something here, as I get this message from the configure:

configure: warning: gnome-pilot development package not installed or
     installation problem

plus:

    Configuration :

              pilot conduits : no

But my rpm exists:

merckx [gnome-pim] <51>rpm -q gnome-pilot gnome-pilot-devel
gnome-pilot-0.1.61-ximian.3
gnome-pilot-devel-0.1.61-ximian.3

I assume that if it finds gnome-pilot-devel properly, it will make the
conduits?

"We" as in ximian, right? And what packages do you mean, evolution? Well,
I upgraded my glibc to 2.2, and redcarpet barfs now. Probably my fault, but
I can't even start fresh with the 'go-gnome' script because of my glibc-2.2.
This is something I don't understand: evolution-0.13 requires glibc-2.2, but
it seems the ximian redcarpet isn't setup for glibc-2.2. Or am I merely
mistaken? ;)

The ximian rpms for evolution won't
build for me either:

merckx [~] <1>sudo rpm -Uvh evolution-0.13-ximian.7.ppc.rpm
Password:
Preparing... ########################################### [100%]
1:evolution error: unpacking of archive failed on file
/usr/lib/evolution/camel-providers/0.13/libcamelsmtp.so.0.0.0;3baebcee:
cpio: MD5 sum mismatch

Again, this may be a problem with my glibc-2.2 upgrade, but it looks like
the rpm is hosed.

At this point I don't care what program I use, as long as I can sync my
calendar. BTW, does evolution use the same format as gnomecal?

Cheers,

Mike
