Re: Can't config conduits anymore

Actually, I know what the problem is. Something is broken in either gnome-pilot's capplet or in libcapplet 1.5.x, but if you go back to control center 1.4.x it will work perfectly.

How would I go about doing that? My system seems to feel that these have been installed already.. Any siggestions?

Hmm, that's where it is on mine, and I get "conduit settings" as one of my options, and it really does give me the conduit settings. Sounds like
some missing dependencies. I had to update all of gnome-pilot and
libraries, for it. I forget which ones exactly but I'm pretty sure it
was libgnome-pilot, gnome-pilot, gnome-pim-conduits and libgpio.
Hmm, Red Carpet is supposed to work that out for you...
I think something went wrong with the update, you might have to select
these yourself and update them manually.

Actually it exists in both places.. the right click from the panel applet and the Control Center.. but both paths give me the pilot-link config instead of the conduit config.. Thanks again for trying to help, but that's not the answer either.. :-(

Any more ideas guys??

It's moved, raise the menu from the foot in Gnome, or start button,
select applets, then utility, then pilot sync.

Once it's running it will put a icon on the bottom panel, right click the bottom panel icon and you can select conduit settings from there..

I'm having the same problem, too... RH7.1, same package versions.

Could it possibly be something in the way Ximian packaged things?

I updated some packages today with red-carpet and now I can't config my conduits. Sync seems to work but when I click on Pilot Conduits in the Control Center, the pilot-link config dialog comes up. I'm now using:

pilot-link-0.9.5-ximian.2
evolution-0.99.2-ximian.3
gnome-pilot-0.1.63-ximian.2

What's up?
