RE: What starts the window manager?



Hy Richard,

did u install Helix using the auto installer or installed all the packages
individualy, if u installed all packages using the auto installer, u should
have the gnome which is the window manager used here, however there is also KDE
which is another WM, if u installed packages then u must be missing the ones
used to run the window manager, i would suggest to use rpm install check
against the packages listed in the helix site and see if u are missing
anything, if so install them, or reinstall all so that if any packages gor
corrupted u'll get a fresh copy.
