can not install gnome

I've just finished downloading GNOME 0.99.8.
I try to install GNOME by typing "rpm -Uvh *.rpm."
the computer did not install GNOME, instead it gives me the error
message." failed dependencies: gnome-audio is needed by
gnome-libs-0.99.8"

no where on the downloading page has this program in it.

what should I do?
