Gnome-network compile dies



As part of the never ending series of compile problems I'm having for
the express purpose of exasperating the developers, I present the
following:

System:

Linux 2.2.0 pre8ac1
Glibc 2.0.111 (CVS 99.01.27)
Egcs 1.1.1
Libtool 1.2d
Automake 2.13
Autoconf 1.4
