RE: .99.5 not working

I had the same problem until I pulled down glib 1.1.14 and gtk
1.1.14 from gtk.org. Why the Gnome site isn't up-to-date for these
libraries, I have no idea. It allowed me to compile nearly
evrything recent module, many of which had similar build problems on
my system.

I have gnome .99.3 working correctly, and i downloaded the patches
for
gnome .99.5, but i get the next error when compiling:

[kaos@kaos libgnomeui]$ make
make[1]: Entering directory
`/opt/src/X/gnome/gnome-libs-0.99.5/libgnomeui'
/bin/sh ../libtool --mode=link gcc -O3 -Wall -Wno-unused -o
gnome_segv
gnome_segv.o ../libgnomeui/libgnomeui.la
../libgnome/libgnome.la ../libart_lgpl/libart_lgpl.la

here comes a very long line...

-ldl -lXext -lX11 -lm -lz -lm
../libgnomeui/.libs/libgnomeui.so: undefined reference to
`gtk_toggle_button_set_active'
../libgnomeui/.libs/libgnomeui.so: undefined reference to
`gdk_set_sm_client_id'
../libgnomeui/.libs/libgnomeui.so: undefined reference to
`gtk_check_menu_item_set_active'
make[1]: *** [gnome_segv] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory
`/opt/src/X/gnome/gnome-libs-0.99.5/libgnomeui'
make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1

This is the version of my libraries:

[kaos@kaos libgnomeui]$ gtk-config --version
1.1.12
[kaos@kaos libgnomeui]$ glib-config --version
1.1.12
[kaos@kaos libgnomeui]$ orbit-config --version
ORBit 0.3.91
[kaos@kaos libgnomeui]$ imlib-config --version
1.9.2
[kaos@kaos libgnomeui]$ libtool --version
ltmain.sh (GNU libtool) 1.0h
[kaos@kaos libgnomeui]$ autoconf --version
Autoconf version 2.12
[kaos@kaos libgnomeui]$ automake --version
