After downloading the latest gnome-core via CVS and running make with
many warnings, the
programs are all giving me this error when attempting to start them:

 can't resolve symbol 'esd_open_sound'

I did not run make install, the gnome-core programs all ready installed
are giving me the
same error. They previously worked, so I've installed something to break
them but what?
