Whats this mean then

Hi

I got down the new gnome files and
installed them and so I figiure
I can use my pager applet in the gnome
panel,  but not so !

I'm getting an error:

**  ERROR ** this applet requires you to
run a window manager with XA_extentions

I have RedHat 5.1 with all updates E
DR-14 and all the latest gnome icwm is
installed
as is Window Maker 19xx I was running E
at the time of the error

any thoughts please
