Vnc and gnome

Hi guys,
does anyone use GNOME and VNC? I'm having problems with properly ending a
session so that panel would exit nicely without dying from killed Xvnc server.
The problem is that Xvnc does not quit like any other Xserver and stays up
forever with a blank screen even after Xsession file has finished its execution.
Please reply ASAP
