Dobey, while doing a rpm -ta encompass-0.4.5.tar.gz, it executes this 
command near the end:
rm -rf /usr/src/redhat/BUILD

?!?!?!

thats not very productive, and posibly quite harmfull.

in the .spec file you have
%clean
rm -rf $RPM_BUILD_ROOT  (thats ok)
rm -rf $RPM_BUILD_DIR (this is very _not_ ok)

please fix before accidents happen?
