Q: a clean way to remove all space separators from GtkToolbar

Hi,

is there a clean way to remove all tool buttons and space separators 
from GtkToolbar? One can try to use GtkContainer methods to remove 
buttons but I could not find a clean way to remove spaces?

(this question probably belongs to gtk-devel. Hm.)
