What does it means?

Hi!
    I get the following error:

Gdk-WARNING **: Pixmap has more than 31 characters per color

    in loading a xpm file into a GdkPixmap with
gtk_pixmap_colormap_load_from_xpm_d. What does it means? Is it a fault in
the xpm datas, or in the pixmap that is created with a wrong format?
