Balsa is not translating Balsa specific messages

When you ran Balsa with locale for which it has translations, it does
not translate Balsa specific messages. Only gnome-libs messages are
being translated.  That should have something to do with gettext
domain. I tried to figure out why it is happening but failed. 

Can someone, not as clueless as me, fix it?
