it's not maintained neither. I did it once I had an Interbase
installation, and it worked with the personal (or something like that)
version. But then, I installed the latest version, and I started getting
the -902 error as you. I even couldn't start the database server, it
gave always the same error.

I asked for help but nobody knew, so since then, it's been unmaintained
:-)

If you know Interbase API, and have the time to try it, it would be good
if you could find where the problem is.

But, can you start the interbase server? I don't remember very well, but
I think it was called ib_server, in the $interbase/bin directory
