Just so that it doesn't go unsaid...this would be a wonderful
advancement. This could potentially be very helpful to a bonobo-based
panel as it would allow us to put the per applet communication
mechanisms onto seperate threads to avoid any risk of blocking (panel
applets need to be expected to die at any moment, and should have
absolutely minimal affect on the stability of the panel).
