Re: GARNOME 2.9.4

Hello back,

Replying to my own thread to say that gtkmm-2.5.5 compilation fails with a nasty error :
main.cc: In function `int main(int, char**)':
main.cc:43: `access' undeclared (first use this function)
main.cc:43: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once for each function
   it appears in.)
main.cc:68: `unlink' undeclared (first use this function)
make[8]: *** [main.o] Error 1
make[8]: Leaving directory `/folk/vrubiolo/Archives/garnome-2.9.4/bindings/gtkmm/work/main.d/gtkmm-2.5.5/examples/book/input'
make[7]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[7]: Leaving directory `/folk/vrubiolo/Archives/garnome-2.9.4/bindings/gtkmm/work/main.d/gtkmm-2.5.5/examples/book'
[...]

This is the same error I had when compiling 2.9.3. At the time, I was waiting for 2.9.4 to see if this was only a problem with development sources. Seems like it's not.

Thanks for your time taken investigating the issue,

Vincent

Hello,

Compilation fails on gtkmm because of invalid checksum.

The fix is to correct it in the checksum file of the gtkmm directory. Change it to : 31d4ad35116b29e59e8024ed453799ec

The checksum is taken from the GNOME CVS here page here : http://ftp.acc.umu.se/pub/GNOME/sources/gtkmm/2.5/gtkmm-2.5.5.md5sum

Happy compilation,

Vincent
