f-spot slowed down

Hi,

I'm using f-spot for some time now and really like it. But the current
CVS version slowed down very much. I think this happened with the
changes on 2005-12-15. Since then the loading and display of jpegs in
full screen and edit mode slow down incredibly. Before I could browse my
images using page up/down very nicely now it takes up to 5 seconds until
a image is shown sharp!
