F-Spot rotation

Hi!

I'm a new user and I have 2 questions about F-Spot EXIF rotation:

1.- Is this a lossless rotation?

2.- There is some way to obtain a EXIF file and not a JFIF file after 
the rotation? (The _file_ application returns "JPEG image data, JFIF 
standard 1.01" while the original file was "JPEG image data, EXIF 
standard 2.2")
