Auto setting of EXIF and IPCT tags

Just thought I would update you a little on my progress, or very slow
progress anyway. I have now been able to recognize the tags when F-Spot
imports the pictures. I will continue to work on this, and much more
this summer probably.

I am playing with trying to get the IPTC/EXIF values of photos, and my
intention is to integrate this into F-Spot, so that when you import
pictures into F-Spot, a number of Tags and Categories will automatically
be created.

This would be for instance
Country, Town, Location, Copyright, Persons, Type of photo, comment,
Picture Orientation, Picture size etc etc.

For the moment I am looking at the below informations.
