no

I presume you've tried File->Import ? I don't know if this has a method
of importing mozilla's addressbook format or not

no, but it is on the feature request list

change it in one folder and then use View->Current View->Save Custom
View and it will overwrite the Messages view (which is the default) and
then all your folders will look the same

(I may have gotten the steps slightly wrong, but that is the general
idea)

this is probably explained in the documentation

nope, not yet.

gconftool-2 --set --type=bool /apps/evolution/mail/display/thread_list
true

that will set the default to be true, but if the folder has already been
opened it will have saved state and default to whatever value it was
last time you opened that folder (so you will still have to save those
by hand).

. will jump to the next unread, but only in the currently selected
folder. I'm not 100% sure what you are asking, but it sounds like you
are asking if evo will jump out of the currently selected folder and
into the next folder in the list which contains unread mail? if so, then
no.

huh? when in threaded mode, new mail can appear above mail that has
already been read if the new message is part of a thread that started
*before* the thread you are currently reading. this makes perfect sense.
