[Evolution-hackers] Status of gnome-spell?

I am trying to get spell checking working in 1.5.6. I am told that
gnome-spell is a dependency. The latest tarball release is 1.0.5 from
back in August of 2003.

It currently fails to build with this error against gtk-2.4.0

I cannot find a place to report bugs for this packages in either
bugzilla.gnome.org or bugzilla.ximian.com.
