Flash ads sucking all my CPU

Is there a way to prevent stupid Flash ads from eating 40, 50, 100% of
my CPU?  This is a big problem as there's no easy way to stop them
(unchecking "Play" and "Loop" don't do anything).  There seems to be no
limit on the amount of CPU that a silly ad in a web page can consume.

I don't have this problem on that other OS.
