Hi,
There is always a competition for the splash screen of a new GNOME
release. Wouldn't it be nicer to make this a bit wider such that it
includes a desktop background and a GDM theme?
That way users get a more visually consistent startup process. I know that
many distros change the art to their own art, but there are also distros
that just use the default GNOME art.
Good idea. Could also make it a requirement that there be a 2.14 and a
'version-free' version- i.e., that the theme be good enough that it
could stand on its own and be added to the package after the release,
without the version references.
