Fish in GNOME Panel

Is there any reason to keep the fish applet in gnome-panel proper
instead of gnome-applets?  Applets in gnome-panel:

        - the clock
        - the notification area
        - wnck-applet
        - fish

One of these things is not like the others, one of these things just
doesn't belong.

I'll even do the work to move it.
