Remember that traditional tab completion breaks the navigational use of
the Tab key, which is an accessibility issue... something like the
dropdown list you find in browser navigation bars would probably be a
more accessibility-friendly solution.  (However, if you were
implementing a "recently-used apps" dropdown as well, the duality might
be a bit confusing.)
