I would also like to see a more defined and involved release process. It
could be as simple as scheduling each main release to be one month after
a main gnome release. This one month could be used by the module
maintainers to take advantage of gnome resources that were occupied
during the gnome development cycle, such as a ui-review.
There could also be scheduled point releases so that maintainers would
have a basic schedule to work with and others would have something to
look forward to.
