GTK+ unit testing

Hi!,

it is nice we finally have a working mailing list!! 

During this time I've been working a bit on providing Check (a C unit
testing framework) support to GTK+. However, Fernando Herrera warned me
that there was a previous and mature project from Sun with the same
target.

Basically, the main question is: should we re-take Sun's testing project
or should we start a new one from scratch using Check?

I think GTK+ guys should give some insight in order to take a decission,
and that's why I recently posted this to gtk-devel:

However, I got no feedback at all from them :(

If you have any comments, questions  or suggestions about this topic,
they are welcome! Besides, if you can get any feedback about this from
GTK+ people it would be great!
