I second this vote!DAAP support in Banshee works, but I find it time consuming that every start of banshee has to lag when the DAAP server starts. And then I keep finding myself with folks connected to my music complaining because I shut down Banshee.
The purpose of Banshee is "music management and playback" - sharing doesn't really fit in there. While the DAAP plugin does work and I credit the developers for their hard work, I think this would be an intelligent move.
Cheers!

I'd rather see something like Tangerine in the desktop, so I can close banshee when I'm not playing music and still share my music.Actually, I really like this idea. I'd vote for adding Banshee DB support to Tangerine and remove DAAP server support from Banshee altogether.-- Ruben Vermeersch (rubenv) http://www.Lambda1.be/ _______________________________________________ Banshee-list mailing list Banshee-list gnome org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/banshee-list_______________________________________________ Banshee-list mailing list Banshee-list gnome org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/banshee-list
