I've never had a problem with any of the rpms before the upgrade to
RH7 from 6.1.  I have the following installed by default with RH7.0
workstation install:

krb5-devel-1.2.1-8.i386.rpm
krb5-libs-1.2.1-8.i386.rpm

Installing the following in addition to the ones above didn't help:

krb5-server-1.2.1-8.i386.rpm
krb5-workstation-1.2.1-8.i386.rpm

These are from the second CD-ROM which came with the distribution.
They were not installed by default but, as I said, they didn't help
anyway.

I have a feeling there is something either messed up or changed with
Kerberos in RH7.0.  Perhaps as, you said, it would be better to remove
the dependency until someone figures out what is going on.
