Changes

It seams that balsa had lost a lot of the functionality that the stable
version had.  Is this because balsa is being rewritten internaly?  Exactly
what has balsa gained due to this rewrite.  I'm not being critical.  If
the code sucked before then rewriting is a "good thing" (tm).
