This is indeed a bug. Shotwell should save your session information so
you don't have to log in again. Just to help us get a better handle on
this problem, here are a few questions. How long have you had the
Google account you use with Picasa? What kind of Google account are
you using (e.g., an @gmail.com account, a Google+ account, a hosted
Google account, etc.)? Have you enabled any non-default security
features in your Google account preferences?
